KOLOT in the Community offers a broad Israeli public the opportunity to study Jewish text together in a warm and pluralistic study group. The majority of Israeli adults have not had the opportunity to experience the richness that Jewish text study has to offer. KOLOT in the Community offers Israelis of all backgrounds the chance to both get to know their Jewish sources and get to know each other – in the framework of a biweekly study group. The program focuses upon the study of texts that lead to action, and inspires the group participants to apply the values and vision they have gleaned in the study group in their own communities
